Antistatic Strip

The antistatic strip brush enables a high degree of safety thanks to the integrated voltage bypass. It diverts in a controlled manner even high voltages as well as disturbing or damaging electrostatic charges located on surfaces via very fine fibers through an aluminum body as a lightning rod to a connected ground connection.

Advantages of antistatic strips:

  • Easy adjustment by means of longitudinal holes in the profiles
  • Easy assembly thanks to the different profile models
  • No maintenance

Thanks to the aluminum coating, the antistatic strip brush conducts current via a ground wire with a wire cross section of min. 2.5 mm2 to a neutral conductor.

To obtain the best effect in the discharge it is important that the fibers lightly touch the surface to be discharged or at most leave a gap of 1.5 mm to 2 mm.

For the discharge, a cable with a minimum section of 2.5 mm2 must be mounted on the brush and connected to earth. A connection to the frame of the machine is insufficient.

The stainless steel wire is made of chrome-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel. The stainless steel filaments are twisted into a thread.

This thread has a high resistance to abrasion, even when subjected to continuous mechanical load.

Antistatic Strip Brush With Carbon Fibers

Carbon fibers are excellent conductors, thanks to the high proportion of carbon they contain.

The distance between the strands is optional and makes this carbon fiber brush ideal for removing electrostatic charge.

In addition, its excellent conductivity can be used to transmit current to certain surfaces.
