Brushes for cleaning filters

Brushes for cleaning filters and drums prevent clogging by removing debris to keep the filter holes free of particles that could hinder filtration. Many machines require a rotating drum, and a machine designed for filtration or screening must clean the filter mesh either continuously or periodically. This allows for improved filtration. Cylindrical brushes are commonly used, either plastic roller-type or metal-based spiral-type. These types of brushes allow for helical fibre arrangements if necessary to push dirt to one side. Sometimes strip-type brushes are also used.
