Brushes for industrial glass washers

These industrial brushes are rollers, cylinders with synthetic polyamide (nylon) fibre so as not to damage or scratch the glass. They are usually very long cylindrical brushes, composed of several modules and very dense fibre for optimal cleaning.

Many companies are involved in glass manufacturing and processing and require cylindrical brushes for glass washing machines, especially for flat glass washing machines, due to the need to obtain optimal results from their products. Cylindrical brushes, when wet, wash the glass to remove dirt, debris and dust.

It is very important to keep the water filters completely clean and the water purified to prevent particles or minerals from leaving marks on the glass.

It is also advisable to keep the bristles of the brushes wet at all times so that they do not become stiff.

More and more brushes are being modified by replacing the fibres with ones of a smaller diameter so that they are even gentler on the inside of the glass and do not leave marks on low-emissivity glass. This is possible because we can insert smaller diameter fibres that clean more delicately.

Over time, the synthetic fibre in industrial cylindrical brushes wears out and needs to be replaced with new polyamide fibre in order to wash glass properly. The brush bodies also deteriorate, but over a longer period of time.

At Cepillo Técnico, we have extensive experience in both manufacturing cylindrical brushes for glass washers and replacing the fibre.

This second fibre replacement option allows the plastic bodies of the brushes to be retained and only the fibre tufts to be replaced. For this to be possible, the bodies must be in good condition. This option usually represents a saving compared to replacing the brushes with completely new ones, although each case must be assessed individually.

When the plastic bodies have deteriorated to a certain extent, it is necessary to make entirely new brushes.
